FUN D BAZAAR SS2 MALL
Started around 8am, quite the latest race I've ever been. But luckily the weather is cloudy and a tinge of wind.
Started off at SS2 Mall PJ, the flag off was by category started with Women's Veteran to Men's Open.
Surprisingly a lot of elite athletes turned up for this race as it was just a top 10 hamper gift.
Never mind that. The route was challenging as we had to do a 3 steep hill climbs from the Jalan Universiti flyover. Saw 2 Kenyans in the race speeding like a bullet.
Some runners were quite confused and ended up doing more than 10kms as they didn't see the Marshall flagging the finishing path and went straight doing more mielage.
The exact gps I got was 9.77km some did 11km some even did 15km. Learned from my previous races is always study the map before a race especially if it's a continuous loop race.
I did my time for 42mins, suppose to have my placing but because of the mish mash I couldn't even be bothered as it was just a charity race. And people should be happy to run and donate and not compete.
I have to say everything was good. But the organizers for this race have to be a bit more stern and discipline.
Today doing my recovery run, how's your running weekend folks?

CICM Setia Alam Marathon 2013
Came in 8th Place, with time 1:36:50
Setia Alam has one of the very best and steady roads. Not so hilly quite gentle landscape. The journey first takes through some newly built housing estates and leads us through some industrial area after 6km or so. Quite a pleasant marathon I must say. Most runners took their time no pressure what so ever.
Prizes were given to top 10 qualifiers while first top 5 received New Balance vouchers and 6-10 received small trophies.
Plenty of sponsors were there wile they gave Nasi Lemak, Bee Hoon, Watermelons and tons of variety of drinks. A very generous acts from these sponsors.
I'm quite happy for this race because it's well organized and people were very attentive to the racers.
Will attend the next one in 2014 for sure..

Larian Gegar Universiti Malaya
We did the Larian Gegar 10km. It was a 5km road which loops twice.
First Time I ever encountered a hill which was so steep. Couldn't do much as I was lack of speed hill training.
Top 10 finishers received hampers. And top 3 received a small trophy. We'll organized by the students of UM.
Did my time of 45mins, and placing at 7th. 1st Place was 40mims, and third place was 41mins.
More races to come...
